FAQ
-
The ultrasonic mode sends a 25kHz tone — inaudible to humans, but within a frequency range dogs are highly sensitive to, similar to a whistle. Beep, vibration, and static modes are each adjustable across 9 levels, so you can start at the lowest setting and increase only as needed. We recommend starting gentle and observing your dog's response before adjusting intensity.
-
These are two different specs. The ultrasonic correction (Mode 1&2) is effective at roughly 16-23ft this is the distance over which the 25kHz tone reliably gets your dog's attention. The transmitter's control range for Beep, Vibration, and Static modes is up to 985ft in open conditions, letting you trigger those corrections from much further away.
-
Results depend on consistency, your dog's temperament, and the behavior being addressed. Many owners notice a response within the first few sessions when the correction is applied consistently and immediately after the unwanted behavior. Pairing the correction with positive reinforcement for good behavior tends to produce faster, more reliable results.
-
The device's adjustable levels (1-9 for beep, vibration, and static) let you select an appropriate intensity for smaller or more sensitive dogs. For puppies or anxious dogs, we recommend starting with Ultrasonic or the lowest Beep/Vibration setting and only introducing higher levels or Static if needed.
-
1)Ultrasonic— a 25kHz tone for a subtle interrupt. 2)Ultrasonic + Strobe— adds a flashing light for extra reinforcement or low-light use. 3)Beep— an audible marker sound, 9 adjustable levels. 4)Vibration— a felt, silent cue, 9 adjustable levels. 5)Static— an adjustable correction (1–9) for more established habits. Switch between modes directly on the transmitter depending on the situation.
-
The ultrasonic and ultrasonic + strobe modes are line-of-sight and effective at roughly 16–23ft — they're designed for direct, close-range use, not for sending a signal through walls or around corners. For corrections at greater distances, use the Beep, Vibration, or Static modes via the collar receiver, which has a wireless range of up to 985ft.
